Now for our Rolls for our sausage sandwiches, a No Brainer Di Lauro’s Bakery & Pizza.
Probably be heading back out to Nino's Italian Bakery for dessert again later this morning. Maybe some Sfogliatelle or Cannoli's or both.
There isn't any flavor that you can go wrong with. Flakey, fruity, and delicious pastries that aren't too sweet.
Best Saturday evening dinner in awhile M. Ascioti's Garlic and Basil Sausage on a Di Lauro's sub roll with sautéed onion and peppers and those Nino's Cannolis for dessert. UTOPIA!!
Now for our Cannoli's, stopped 2 other bakeries near Ascioti's only being left disappointed just by the appearance of their Cannoli's and other pastries. Nope! Could tell they weren't going to stand up to Nino's Italian Bakery Quality.
Thanks Nino for reminding me of that.
A favorite stop for Italian cookies and pastries whenever we make it to Syracuse. Somehow, everything ends up being eaten before we make it back home!
Places like Nino's Italian Bakery, DiLauro's Bakery & Pizza, M. Ascioti's Meatballs & More, Mazzye's Meats, Nichol's Supermarket, Green Hill's Farms and Nojaim Brothers Super Market few reasons why it is so important to support our small businesses, they are heartstrings that made our Country.
Excited about today dinner house already smells so good. My Homemade Sauce on the stove simmering with My Homemade Ricotta Meatballs, Ascioti's Braciole and Hot Sausage.
Oh, Smells So Good!
BEST CANNOLI CAKE EVVVVVVVEEEEEEERRRRRRR
The hype is REAL. The pastries are so delicious! Every. Single. One.
Yesterday proved Ya Gotta Stay Loyal and continue to support your long time favorites from your past the ones who love what they do and their customers. Sadly in today's times the areas around them may have changed and the big corporations are running them out of business. But once inside those doors, you realize the love and dedication is still there and is still counting on you to keep their love alive.
So on to Syracuse we go to an old faithful Nino's Italian Bakery, (So Sad to see how run down the area has become.) But wasn't let down by Nino's. Our Cannoli's were filled fresh and staff friendly and helpful, we brought one for each(later wishing as always we had gotten more) also wish you had a couple more Lobster Tails would have picked up one of them for each too. (But there is always next weekend)
On a Homemade Italian Sausage and Cannoli hunt yesterday, headed to Solvay to try M. Ascioti Meatballs & More got our Sausage(some Hot and some Garlic and Basil) and some Braciole.
I bought 2 lbs of cookies, this place is the closest to Brooklyn and the Italians, according to my Italian wife. They are an excellent bakery. We would order from here and take to a party back home in Brooklyn and Queens, we would be proud to say they came from Nino's Italian Bakery.
