Every experience I'v had with Trailways has ended HORRIBLY! Their customer service is incredibly rude, the website frequently falsely advertises prices, if only I could submit pictures to Google Reviews I'd show you where the website advertises the price for a ticket from Syracuse to NY for $33 and right before you hit confirm on the order it's changed to $42.50 including a service charge. When I called in to ask about this they claimed it was because they had a new system and so "the price on the confirmation page is the real price of the ticket. It's a little disingenuous but we have a new system in the office." THAT'S NOT A NEW SYSTEM THAT'S BLATANTLY FALSE ADVERTISING YOUR PRICING.
The lack of respect for the customer in this business is palpable and infuriating, I would NOT recommend Trailways to my friends or family unless I was trying to stop them from going wherever they were trying to go.
TERRIBLE, SUCH A HASSLE !!! YOU HAVE TO PRINT YOUR TICKET AND IF YOU DONT IT'S A LONG PROCESS TO PRINT IT AND NO ONE HAS TIME FOR THAT !! Especially when trying to catch a bus You have to print a ticket out for every stop even when it's not your stop The Wi-Fi is trash ! TERRIBLE bus service
In the end I decide to attempt to book the ticket but low and behold my card is declined... I check my info and attempt to order it again and it doesn't go through a second time. I check with my bank to see if there's any pending withdrawals from Trailways and there's two! For some reason when a card is declined at every other online retailer no money is temporarily taken out of the account... for some reason Trailways is different....... so now I'm $80 in the hole and I try to speak to a customer service rep to go through the process and she just tells me to try it again as opposed to doing it on her end to insure that everything is entered correctly!
