The ER doctor was not much help and showed little interest in controling pain. Quick to make judgements, basing non educated decisions on old outdated information. Had excuses for everything Had snide comments showing little to no interest in doing her job. It's sad that I have to write a poor review of her and make a report of poor conducted. Clearly she was the wrong person for the job.
I also commend the hospital for a welcoming multi-faith Chapel. When you are at the VA you might consider stopping in and take a moment for the tending of the spirit.
This is a good VA Medical Center. I've nothing but praise for all the staff medical administrative, and various others who work behind the scenes yet are crucial to the function of the facility and especially environmental services/housekeeping.
Waited over 2 hours for the VA to give me a ride home. Unacceptable!!
4 days in ICU. Wonderful caring staff. The nurses could not be more helpful. They call for a doctor when they felt something was wrong. And even gone to takes with doctor when they felt they could do more to make my brother in law more comfortable Theses nurses doctors are super caring people. They keep the family informed every step of the way. I am not sure if I could do what they do it take dedication and knowledge and a heart. Thank you A6 ICU
Otherwise the hospital particular this VA is well run with good staff. Don't be afraid to ask for what you need. As a vet I think the ER forgot that they work for the vets and that we earned every bit of our care and when we are in pain, companion is what we need..
Awful. Was put on a mental health arrest only to be laughed at and told to go to the rescue mission because they couldn't help me get home. All of the employees are rude cynical assholes. I reached out to them for help 5 years ago and all i got was a bag of dangerous antipsychotics and antidepressants that don't work.
