It was amazing to be able to go to a game with my dad. The seating needs improvement but even from the second row we had an amazing veiw
We are are attending the Pitt vs Syracuse game. So far it was easy to park and take the bus to the Dome. Local people are very friendly and amicable. The dome is a great place to have a game especially since it is raining outside.
The Dome is great when the home team wins. The Dome should be renovated to just basketball and high end venue. Hopefully the University will get a good plan together and open an outdoor stadium for football. We'll see. Otherwise it's a good venue for sports in Central New York. Go SU!
Good dome. Easy to get to. Parking ok. Usually on the chilly side.
I went to a concert at the Carrier Dome last week. The performance by Paul McCartney was amazing! But the venue was terrible!! I would never go to another concert at the Carrier Dome! It was extremely hot inside ( high 80's with no air movement), the seats were just metal bleachers that got very uncomfortable and had you sitting on top of other concert goers. There was no staff directing people and the crowding to get into and out of the hallways of the dome was terrible. The lack of organization continued after the show as our parking lot had no one directing traffic ( and it was a lot affiliated with the Carrie Dome ) so we sat in grid lock in the parking lot for over an hour. Great concert, terrible, terrible venue!
