We had a great morning at the zoo today... the grandkids, all of us enjoyed ourselves. Staff was great, lunch there was very good. The animals were quite active and seemed happy. We saw the new baby monkey and submitted our name choices. Fun day! Thank you!
Great and inexpensive zoo! When we were there the penguins were being fed and having a blast! Great for kids and families. Not too much of a walk, like some other zoos. The path pretty much leads you directly around the zoo, seeing all the animals.
Amazing experience! Visited November 17, 2017. A little windy outside but seeing the outdoor animals was with the chill. Plenty to do inside as well. I was surprised to see that there were very few animals that weren't visible to the public despite the cold. Extremely affordable, 8$ /adult and 4$ /youth is unbeatable! Very pleased with my experience.
I don't usually like zoos, but this one keenly integrates environmental messages and lessons about biology into the display. They have all the key species that are fun and unique without many of the "boring" animals. Definitely check it out
I feel like this is probably the best zoo in our area and we drove quite a way! It was worth it though. The park is set up in a circle so you just follow it around and don't have to worry too much about missing anything. The penguins were so cute, and there were plenty of places to watch then. They also have some indoor exhibits which were pretty neat. We had a good time for a low price. Look forward to returning! We missed all the special events so next time it will be an even better visit, can't wait!
