I have had the honor of singing our National Anthem for Onondaga County's Veterans Cemetary for over 20 years. It is a blessed place of peace and beauty. Thank you for this special honor. My loving Dad, William P. Eckert, is also buried here, as will be my Mom one day. I've always told everyone that I learned patriotism from this Marine. Thanks Dad.
My parents are buried there and there is a tree and bench next to their Graves . very peaceful and well kept.

THE VETERANS MEMORIAL CEMETERY IS THE BEST KEPT MANICURED CEMETERY IN ONONDAGA COUNTY. ITS SURROUNDINGS ARE PEACEFUL AND COMFORTING AND I DO FEEL SOMEWHAT SAFE THERE. MY BELOVED BROTHER IS THERE WITH HIS OWN BENCH AND TREE AND I KNOW THAT I MADE THE RIGHT DECISION PLACING HIS REMAINS THERE. HE PASSED WAY BEFORE HIS TIME , HE FOUGHT THE CANCER BATTLE AND LOST BUT HE IS AT PEACE. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THIS! SOMETIMES THEY DON'T PUT HIS BENCH BACK IN THE RIGHT PLACE AND I HAVE A FIT. SO WE HAVE TO MOVE IT, AND IT IS VERY HEAVY, SO THEY SHOULD PAY MORE ATTENTION.
