The owners truly care about this gym as if it was their own child. Reasonable rates and you can tell they just keep reinvesting any money they make right back into the gym. One of the owners has worked every day since I joined over 8 months ago which shows how much they care. Would recommend over any other gym in Syracuse and I've been to at least 10 of them.

This gym is awesome! From the owners to most of the members!! Each and every gym has its "idiots" you know guy who try's to squat way more than he is physically capable of and almost breaks his lil neck..the neck that holds up his big head with frosted tips!! Or runs around with no shirt on, having to pass a mirror and seeing that he prob shouldn't... But ehhhhh what ya gonna do?? Comes with the territory ..STILL BEST GYM IN THE CUSE IN MY EYES that works for me!!!!
Powerhouse has pictures of bodybuilding superstars on the wall and advertises local bodybuilding shows, how refreshing! If your serious about your goals and want to train in a REAL gym give Powerhouse a try!! Open 24 hours too!

Love this gym! Small in size but HUGE on atmosphere. You can always tell the difference between a corporate gym where everyone is just a number and a $ sign and a gym like Powerhouse where it's more like a family. Great machines and freeweights, always adding new pieces of equipment. Just the right amount of cardio (not 90% cardio machines like every other gym), clean bathrooms, plenty of protein drinks and best of all they embrace bodybuilding! Unlike certain gyms that don't like bodybuilders or bodybuilding **coughPLANETFITNESScoughcough**
