Was given time with Jess or Jaz as I was told by the person on the counter. I requested the person to clean her equipment which she plain refused to ( although the previous person had left moments ago and no human could possibly clean the equipment in the time that had passed).
Easily my worst experience at a barbershop/hair salon
You would think that Garbos would give us free haircuts due to missing the Relay, but they only gave us a $10 discount (I paid $25) like they have for several years.
I called today and was able to get my money back, but the manager in the phone was very annoyed (I'm not sure if it was with me or with the hair dresser), but was nice to me in person and was very apologetic which I appreciate.
I just got my hair done at Garbo's for the first time yesterday. I was able to get in immediately because they are very well staffed and cater to busy college students like myself. They were incredibly nice and immediately made my experience enjoyable by offering me water and magazines while I waited for my highlights and hair color to process. Kristi, my hairstylist and the manager, did an incredible job and my hair turned out exactly how I wanted it!! I highly recommend this place and I will for sure. be returning!
I requested to cut the uneven hair and edges on the back and over my ears, after she completed the haircut in under 10 minutes the whole time acting irritated and blazing through the whole thing. She said if I don't want her uncleaned trimmer, it will not be possible

I donated my hair to Pantene at the Relay for Life this past weekend. We were under the impression that Garbos was going to cut off our hair and let us come to the salon the following day and get it styled for a discounted price. It turns out that Garbos had the fate of the Relay wrong in their calendar and never showed. A volunteer/college student from the Relay ended up having to cut our hair with a pair of paper-cutting scissors (she had cut hair before and I am very greatful she was able to do it!)
I settled on getting the side burns cut leaving extremely uneven hair at the back.
I went for a haircut on a Tuesday afternoon, called in beforehand.
I showed up to my appointment 30 minutes early because I prefer to be early in case someone misses an appointment. The woman who did my hair took me as soon as I came in, and as soon as we went to wash my hair, the hair dresser's 2 o'clock appointment showed up and had to wait. The dresser took maybe 30 seconds to wet down my hair and wash it. Then she only "evened" out my hair to make it all straight and set me on my way. It turns out that my hair is still uneven. She also didn't give me layers and bangs like I wanted. She was very rushed.
