I discovered the hardware store shortly after I bought a home nearby. The service in a small hardware store beats the daylights out of the Big Box hardware stores. On my most recent trip, I needed a new adapter for my faucet-mounted water filter. I had the old adapter, and took it to a big box store, but they were unable to assist me, they didn't bother to look for anything compatible. In Bob's, the staffer looked at several adapters, and came up with one that may fit my faucet; it did, and I'm very happy.

I had a paint mixed. It was a very awesome experience. The person who assisted me was very knowledgeable and explained the various finishes in detail and offered to keep my selection in the system in case the formula needed later. It was very quick and then it was over!
I've refrigerated and frozen most of my boxed items, but my refrigerator just isn't big enough for all my dry food. When I went there to get the so-called refund for the 40 lb infested birdseed, it seems the manager hadn't even informed the other employees (who acted like they couldn't care less) about refunding me. He has yet to call me back after I'd left my phone number with staff. I, of course, will never shop there again and I'd give it a negative 10,000 if I could.

Don't buy your birdseed here unless you like weevil infestations. Store manager 'claimed' he'd refund my money to me, which trust me isn't even close to satisfying me! 3 weeks later and I'm still killing the weevils. They infested my flour and rice as well. I'm not sure what else they may have infested as there are a lot of packaged goods I've not yet opened.
Supposedly these bugs can bore through plastic and cardboard as well.
