Let me set the scene for you: I am 31 and I bought my first brand new car at the beginning of this year - 2017 Honda Civic Hatch. In August I got into a car accident on the back end of my drivers side. I got t-boned at an intersection. My dad told me to take my car here. First words out of his mouth. And let me tell you - I am so glad I did (I Brought it to their Collision Center)
Drove from Canada for a repair. Really great and friendly customer service. They fixed the issue and answered questions about other vehicles. Recommend highly.
From the moment I walked in everyone was full of professionalism and empathy. They could see I’ve never dealt with this before. No one was hurt so that’s great but my car was not so great. The assured me they could fix everything (once damage was assessed) and it would be like brand new. They were telling the truth. Throughout the whole process they have an “auto watch” program where they text you (or email) pictures of the process step by step, they give you a way to contact them right from the site, and explanations of each step of the process. It was a very relaxing feature. Overall they were on point and super organized throughout the whole process. No question was too much or stupid. They were happy to answer them (anyone who knows me knows I have a lot of them).
Knew what I wanted before I found my vehicle on line - Fast, accurate , easy transaction, very friendly folks. Recommended Highly!!
Once they called me and told me my car was ready I was nervous. All my friends were saying “it will never be the same.” You know how it goes. But, I am happy to say at least this once my friends were wrong. The car looked like it was never touched by anyone. Not to mention every piece that needed to be replaced was replaced with factory parts - no aftermarket nothing. The color was perfect and they even detailed and cleaned the car inside and out for me.
I have had multiple interactions with Alan Byer Volvo over the years and felt like I got great service every single time. I had a Volvo which they serviced, they gave me a shuttle ride to and from work and got the work done quickly, there diagnostic and fees aligned with the estimates my other mechanics stated. They also did bodywork for an insurance claim and gave me text and phone updates as the car went through the process. I always knew what was going on and was very satisfied with the final product of their work.
This is more of a review of the body shop that I have used twice. Great work, great rental program, just don't smoke in the rentals and throw your ashes everywhere. Everyone is so nice, I would probably buy a Volvo from them if I could afford it.
All in all it was quite a process (there was a lot of damage) but they definitely came through on the job. I would absolutely recommend anyone with any type of car to bring it here first. They will not give up until the job is completed to 100% - theses days it’s hard to find people like this.
