Low and behold it had nothing to do with my hair but severe condition in my neck that if I wasn't careful at that time and I moved just right I could be paralizied from the neck down. Dr.Dhawn told me that I needed surgery ASAP to go home and be very careful and he'd call me as soon as he could get me in . This was at two in the afternoon. At four that afternoon he called and told me surgery was scheduled for 8:00 the next morning. We'll after twelve hours in surgery this wonderful man saved my life. From beginning to end, Dr. Dhawan was able to make me feel at ease. He diagnosed my condition properly, told me everything in a way I could understand, fielded all of my questions, and even called on me after my surgery a few times. Since then I have referred others who have had the same results. He's one of the best, and I highly recommend him.
My primary care physician several years back told me that the neck pain that I was having in my neck was caused because of my long hair and all I had to do was get it cut and it would go away. I had hair that I could sit on at the time, and being Native American Indian, I had to go before the council to get permission to get it cut. Which they granted. It was cut real short, I was devastated, and still in extreme neck pain. This is when I went to see Dr Dhawan.
I went to see him today 7-15-16 in geneva and he didn't even know who I was (he didn't even carry a patient folder!) I have been there for x-rays and checkups a few times before and he didn't even know why I was there or what my injury was.
