4) The same lady was not helpful and I felt rude (Not sure about other customers but I didn't get good treatment).
No cars were availabe when I arrived the agent did everything she could to get one for me as soon as she could. It was 30 mins and was given an upgrade at no extra cost. The car was clean I took photos of few stains n dings on outside and off I went smooth will def rent again. A++++
During my whole stay I had backpain because of the car.
1) They don't have enough cars in their lot, so if you are comfortable with minivan, good, if not, they don't have any other cars.
Today in JFK we needed a rental car after having some travel difficulties. An employee named Rivan was beyond helpful. I couldnt say enough nice things about him and his service. He made what had been a terrible day into a much better one. Thank you for having people like him at your company.
car smelled like an ash tray-nasty. unless you are a smoker, than it was fine
The reason why you should not rent the car from this company:
Wish I had some backup options to get the car, I really regretted that.
Positive thing - The price was good.
3) The lady promised me to waive off the fuel charges and when I came back she only took $15 off from my total, so that's again one more bad experience.
Although I reported that the tire pressure in the vehicle I was renting at the Syracuse airport was low and needed attention, the attendant on duty said it was no problem and the indicator would reset after letting the car warm up. As I was running late due to flight delays, I did not have time to go back to the counter to request a vehicle without issues. Over the next five days, I had a constant reminder that the tires may not have been properly inflated and the added stress that there might be a problem as I was traveling the New York Thruway. Fortunately, the tire did not blow out but Alamo showed little concern at either the rental point or the return.
2) I was not comfortable with Minivan asked the lady to give some other car, but she said they don't have it and didn't give any alternate option.
