What great customer service. Check in was fast and the clerk friendly and helpful. A short walk across the street and there was our car. Upon arrival at the airport, National employees were waiting for us! They took our keys, printed a receipt right there and off we went! Why rent a car from anyone else
The experience at the airport was fine/easy in terms of pickup and drop off however, there was no one at the drop off location to check the car in with. Didn't seem like a problem at the time, but then I received a letter in the mail saying there was damage to the car and I needed to fill in an incident report. I did not have any incidents and the car was in the same condition that it was when I picked it up. When I called, they said it was a "star" type of small crack in the windshield and although they sent me this info to fill out, that I wouldn't be responsible for the damage. It makes me a little uncomfortable that this happened and I wish there was an agent to check the car in so this wouldn't have occurred.

A very nice experience overall. I would like National to have the Emerald/Executive program in more locations, as I had to come back inside. Syracuse is not one of the locations you can just get in the car and drive away.
